2018 — It will get better

The past 2017 is quite a unique year in my life. Finally getting out of education system and getting a real job, finally being independent and finally getting over my 20s. Though all the things sound natural, they don’t happen easily.  Luckily, I finally get to where I am now.

In retrospect,  at the beginning of 2017, I can not image I could sit in a beautiful high rise in San Francisco and type my year’s reflection. What else could I say to myself?

Congratulations, you have survived another year!

For this year,  I start to learn more about simply paying attention to myself.  Eat well, drink well, exercise well, think well, write well, and focus on every moment in your life. This year’s list of to-do things:

  1. Stop excessive drinking.  Keeping clear awareness is the foundation of a healthy and fulfilling life, avoiding the problems via alcohol definitely is the worst
  2. Playing instruments. Music is the best pill for happiness, the more you play, the happier your mood will be.
  3. Drink Tea.  Having a cup of tea will calm you down.
  4. Practice Yoga.  Yoga will help to bring awareness and focus back.
  5. Read books and spend less time watching video.
  6.  Listen more and speak less

 

Hope this would be a good year ahead.
